Sometimes you get so caught up with work, family, friends, and acquaintances and you get lost. You’ve got every minute of every hour accounted for and you feel like you are getting nowhere. Everyone seems to want something. Their intentions are good. But you feel like the tail is wagging the dog.
It’s okay to take a break. It is okay to pull back awhile. Tell people, “No. I’m sorry I can’t do that right now.”
Take the time, calm your mind, give your soul some peace. Read a book, take a walk by a river, sit in a coffee shop “people watching.”
Then look at your goals & desires. It doesn’t have to be something big, just something you’d like to do but just don’t seem to have the time. Work on one of those.
You will know when you are ready to go back into the hustle and bustle. When you do? People will notice. They’ll tell you they’ve missed you, you look great, and “Hey! Where ya been?”
You will feel better, and you will
redefine joy for yourself.
