Submarine Sunday

The submarine series we just finished was not my idea. My opinion was that the only people who would be interested in submarine history are a few old submarine vets like myself. I was wrong and my advisors and staff were correct. The response to the submarine series surprised me. Which leads to our announcement that once a month we will have a “Submarine Sunday.” Each month we will bring you an article that highlights the machines, designers, builders, and crew of these ships that sink on purpose and then surface (hopefully) again.

Next Wednesday we will bring you one of our archived articles on those marvelous zeppelins and on Sunday will be my annual “10 April” article.
