Michael Collins, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin at the White House with President George W. Bush in 2004 celebrating the 35th anniversary of Apollo 11 going to the moon.  12 men walked on the moon. 8 are still living. The oldest now is Buzz Aldrin at 82. The youngest Charles Duke at 76. Sometime in the next 15 years the last man who walked on the moon will have died. I think its pretty sad that the United States since the Apollo program ended in the early 1970’s  have only went  giant steps backwards and not forwards in space exploration.
